Refund Policy - Cheffings
Thank you for shopping with Cheffings. We strive to provide you with the highest quality items for catering and hospitality equipment, and your satisfaction is our top priority. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, we offer a 30-day refund policy.
Refund Eligibility:
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- The request for a refund must be made within a certain amount of days* from the date of the original purchase.
- Customer must be willing to pay for return shipping
- The product or service must be unused and in the same condition as received.
- Original packaging must be intact.
How to Initiate a Return:
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at contact@cheffings.net.
- Provide your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return.
- We supply you with the information and logistics needed to return your product, given that it is within the return time period of your product*.
Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part. An 'error' in this instance is referring to an error relating to shipping, not related to an issue with the product itself.
Refund Process:
Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, we will initiate the refund process. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 5-7 business days. Note that the customer must pay the return shipping fee.
Exclusions:
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Customised or personalised orders.
- Perishable items.
- Items which have been damaged, this includes packaging
- Final sale items

*Return Time Period
The return time period varies with different products. To find this out you can contact us at contact@cheffings.net, following the How to Initiate a Return instructions, as shown above in this policy and we will supply you with the correct information needed to return the product along with the return time period as soon as possible. The return period spans from up to 14 days, however there some products which we do not offer returns/refunds - so our recommendation is to return the item as soon as possible if you would wish to. You can get in contact with us for more information on the return/refund eligibility of a product.
The maximum amount of days is not in our control, but subject to third party suppliers. Only once we are contacted with the details of the product you have purchased, then can we refer to our supplier and find out how long you have to refund and return your item.
Damaged, Defective or Missing Items:
If you receive a damaged or defective item, or simply didn't receive it, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to replace the item or issue a refund as an exception to the unprecedented state of your item, however this can only be done within the first 14 days of arrival so we recommend you get in touch as soon as possible. We will require image proof of your damaged, defective as well as necessary details of tracking and overdue arrival time proving your product has gone missing. You cannot just state it didn't arrive. Note that the eligibility of the products return/refund is entirely dependable on whether the product supplier accepts returns/refunds. If they do not accept return/refunds on that particular product, then Cheffings are not required to return or refund the order.
As a consumer, we respect your right to choose where to shop. However, by engaging with our services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. Please be aware that the return & refund time frame is strict and is not valid once that time has passed. Note exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of damaged, defective or missing products as long as they are reported within 14 days of arrival or overdue arrival time. Also note that the eligibility of the products return/refund is entirely dependable on whether the product supplier accepts returns/refunds. If they do not accept return/refunds on that particular product, then Cheffings are not required to return or refund the order.
We do not offer returns/refunds based on if the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained does not meet your expectations.
Fraudulent Activity
In line with our commitment to preventing fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to cancel any order that we deem to be fraudulent or suspicious. This includes orders that may involve unauthorised transactions or attempts to exploit our refund policy.
We want to emphasise that, regardless of a consumer's right to pursue litigation, our Terms of Service explicitly prohibit any refund or chargeback requests. This policy extends even beyond the return & refund timeframe. Therefore, after the specified limit, refund or chargeback requests will not be accepted or honoured.
